National Farmers’ Market Week is Aug. 4-10, and to celebrate Howard County Farmers’ Market will host a special chili cook-off competition on Friday, Aug. 9.
There is a $5 entrance fee, and extra points will be given for incorporating items from market vendors. Prizes will be awarded to the judges top choice and the market favorite as judged by the public.
