Loren Dayle Icenhower-Stacks was born on Aug. 10, 1998. Loren was a bright light to everyone that knew her. From an early age she loved to draw and paint and take pictures. She was a very talented artist. She loved the outdoors and to hike and swim, but her very favorite place was being on the beach. We went every summer from the time she was a year old going to the beach. It was her happy place. She loved to go with her dad and look for arrowheads and special rocks and always brought some home. She was an avid thrift shopper and could decorate anything from a thrift shop and make it look amazing. She has two mini dachshunds, Bay and Dune, that she dearly loved and wanted everyone to meet when possible. They were important to her.

Loren attended South Pike County Schools from Kindergarten to graduation. She was band and colorguard member from ninth to twelfth grade. From the ninth grade, she decided she wanted to be a dental hygienist and set out to pursue that goal. She graduated high school in 2017 and then attended Cossatot Community College after graduating from there she attended UAFS in Fort Smith to graduate in May 2023 with her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She received her passing boards exam results June 14, 2023, and began her career as a dental hygienist in July of 2023. Loren was the type of person that when she wanted something badly enough, she went for it and, no matter how hard she had to fight for it, she made it happen.

Throughout her short life, Loren loved God with all her heart. Her blonde hair always attracted lots of attention from others. The Love of God was always evident in the way she treated others with gentleness and kindness.

Loren’s dad has always been her favorite person. They had a special bond that only father and daughter have. They loved many of the same things and always enjoyed being together watching Bigfoot or Expedition Unknown. Loren and her brother had these same connections. So many times they would just break out in a song together like they knew exactly what each other was thinking. And, of course, she was mom’s perfect princess. She and I loved to shop together and decorate together. She was my inspiration for decorating especially at Christmas, which she loved.

In May of 2023, Loren met the love of her life in Chris Stacks. Many trips were made between Murfreesboro and Beaumont over the next year and, on May 25, 2024, she had her most perfect day when they said “I Do.”

Loren attended Life Tabernacle Apostolic Church most of her life, The Apostolic Church of Fort Smith while attending college and most recently The Apostolic Church of Beaumont with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Linda Thorndyke and Dwight Icenhower.

Survivors include her husband, Chris Stacks; her parents, Darrin and Rose Icenhower; her brother, Daniel Icenhower; her maternal grandmother Brenda Hinds; her maternal grandfather John Hinds; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
