Nashville native named Coach of Year again

Nashville native and former Scrapper football standout, Todd Cooley, who is now the head football coach at Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss., was named Coach of the Year in the Gulf South Conference, the second consecutive year he has received the honor.

Cooley’s Statesmen won the GSC championship for the second straight season. Cooley also earned Coach of the Year honors in 2013 and 2014.
