William Ray Harris, age 86, of Murfreesboro, Ark., died April 23, 2023, at his home in Murfreesboro. He was born Aug. 29, 1936 ,in Ozan, Ark., the son of the late Wilbur and Ilene Chism Harris.
Ray was a proud Korean War Veteran, he served his country with pride and patriotism. He will always be loved and missed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred Harris Ramer, and brother, Larry Morris Harris.
Survivors include: two sons, Mike Harris and wife Tammi of Nashville, Ark., and Bryan Harris of Nashville, Ark.; one daughter, Gail and husband, Dr. John Hearnsberger of Nashville, Ark.; his special friend, Glenda Kizzia of Murfreesboro, Ark.; six grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren as well as additional family and friends.
Visitation will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 26, at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 26, at Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
