Mozelle Turner, 84, of Murfreesboro, Ark., died on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023, in Murfreesboro. She was born July 10, 1938 in Nashville, Ark., the daughter of the late Tremon Lee Parks and Willie Mae Shaw Parks.
Mrs. Turner was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and taking care of her children.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Turner, and a son-in-law, Joe Tugman.
Survivors include: one son, Wesley Turner of Murfreesboro, Ark.; one daughter Shirley Tugman of New Boston, Texas; grandchildren Jennifer Luecke and husband Kevin of Redwater, Texas, Steven Burks of New Boston, Texas, Jennifer Lee Pinkston and husband Bobby of Alexander, Ark., Gus Turner of Kirby, Ark.; great grandchildren IC3 Makenzie Hilton 3rd class petty officer US Navy of New Port News,Va., Mallori Hilton and Lathan Morgan of Redwater, Texas, Preston Hilton of Redwater, Texas, Will Pinkston of Alexander, Ark.; as well as one great-great granddaughter, Emersyn Morgan of Redwater, Texas.
Visitation will be 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Feb.25, at Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro, with Roy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home in Murfreesboro.
