Nina Louise Pennington, age 82, of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at her home. She was born on Aug. 13, 1940, in Saratoga to the late Marshall and Nannie Mae McJunkins Sanders.
Nina was a member of the Saratoga church of Christ. She was a radiology technician at Collum and Carney. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include: her four children, Donna Wheat (Ed) of Athens, Ala., Jan Pennington (Connie) of Richmond, Mo., Ken “Taron” Pennington of Texarkana, Texas, and Eric Pennington (Tandy) of Texarkana, Texas; her grandchildren, Jennie Franco, Ryan Pennington, Ashton Marek, Shane Pennington, Tyler Pennington, Hannah Coughenour, Jesse Wheat, Rebecca Kellogg, Chad Pennington, Shannon Pennington, Jake Pennington, Christian Pennington, Devon Pennington and Emma Pennington; her great-grandchildren, Arianna, Kyle, Keelan, Ella, Aiden, Brock, Beau, Elana, Emmett, Greer, Amiya, Claire, Harper, Piper, Asher, Kate, Maddie; her siblings, Helen McAdams, William Marshall Sanders and Kathy Pierce (Dick); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022 at Latimer Funeral Home in Nashville.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022, in the Latimer Funeral Chapel in Nashville with Zach Redmon officiating. Interment will follow in Saratoga Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Nashville.
