HMH Gala Feb. 25 to raise funds for robotic surgical system

Surgical Services Director Lindsay Hooper was among the first to give the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System simulator a try. Proceeds from the hospital gala will go toward the robotic surgical system.

The 16th annual Howard Memorial Hospital Foundation Gala will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 p.m. at Occasions, 1405 S. Fourth St. in Nashville.

The theme for the event is “Puttin’ on the Ritz.”

Tickets are $150 each.

The HMH Gala will include dinner, dancing and music. 

There will also be a silent auction during the evening.

Those who have received invitations may RSVP through the QR code on the back of the invitation.

Proceeds from the Gala will go toward the hospital’s purchase of the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. The surgical robotics program allows surgeons to utilize minimally invasive methods.

The HMH Foundation was established in 1992 and supports the hospital and its efforts to meet the healthcare needs of communities in the area.
