Theft suspects plead not guilty

NASHVILLE - Two Amity men arrested in connection with the theft of two ATVs and a trailer plead not guilty to separate theft charges Wednesday in Howard County Circuit Court.

Brandon Null, 28, and George Pate, 32, were both ordered to return to court March 5 after entering their pleas. Both men are currently listed as inmates at Howard County Jail.
According to court documents, the charges against the pair stem from an investigation that began Sept. 10, when the Dierks Police Department received a report regarding the theft of a 2010 Honda four wheeler valued at around $3,000.
“This report was one of several that have been received over the last two months regarding stolen four wheelers and trailers from Howard and Pike Counties,” police wrote in an affidavit attached to Null’s case file.
