Helen Louise Camomile Jones, age 92, of Sacramento, California, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
She was born on January 10, 1925 in Sacramento, the daughter of Morris Wesley Camomile and Bertha Davis Camomile. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jones; her parents; and her son, Ronald Jones.
A licensed beautician, she owned and operated Helen’s Salon of Beauty in Sacramento for many years. She enjoyed being with her family, playing with her pets, camping, traveling and the beauty of the Redwood Forest of California.
She is survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Morry and Christy Sanders of Black Springs, Rhonda and James Ryals of Hot Springs, Chris and Traci Jones of Iowa, Scott and Teresa Jones of Colorado, Charles and Nilou Jones of Maryland and Patty and Randal Gentry of Texas; and several great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff of the Montgomery County Nursing Home for all of their wonderful love and care they gave our precious Grandma.
