Jewel Donaldson, age 74, of Kirby, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 10, 1942, in Amity, the daughter of Clay Smith and Madie Spears Smith.
She is survived by her loving husband, George V. Donaldson of Kirby; one son, George “Boots” Donaldson of Newhope; four daughters, Brenda Tigue of Kirby, Linda Carter of Bonnerdale, Shirley Montgomery of Poyen and Lisa Porter of Kirby; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren; one brother, Junior Smith of Kirby; two sisters, Lola Dollar and Elmeda Hancock, both of Glenwood; and her honorary sister, Betty Epperson of Daisy.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2017, in the Midway Cemetery in Daisy with Bro. George “Boots” Donaldson and Bro. Billy Thompson officiating.
