Local bronc rider earns spot in national finals

A local cowboy has qualified for the first Junior National Finals Rodeo and second annual 2016 Mini Bareback Riding World Championship in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Seth Wright, a 9 year old student at Caddo Hills elementary school, is the son of Shawn and Sarah Wright of Glenwood and the grandson of John and Debbie Whisenhunt and Robert Joe and Brenda Wright.
Seth qualified in the peewee division of the mini bareback through the Southeastern Mini Bareback World Championship Circuit Series. He rode in rodeos in Kentucky, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Texas and Arkansas. Seth is currently ranked among the top 35 contestants in the world thus earning a spot in the championship events in Nevada.
The Nevada events will be held December 1-4 at Las Vegas, Nevada and will ge held in conjunction with the PRCA Wrangle National Finals Rodeo.
The top youth bareback riders in North America chase their dream of earning the world championship.
Seth has been a part of rodeo since he was 4years old earning the six and under SJRA  all around cowboy saddle, ATRA mini bareback championship and numerous other accomplishments including buckles and money.
He began his love for bareback riding only two years ago and has never looked back. He and his family would like to thank everyone for their support and love for Seth as he chases his dream of becoming a world champion.
