The Nashville High School National Honor Society chapter is conducting its annual food drive to benefit the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen.

Canned and other non-perishable items will be collected now through Thursday, Dec. 15.

An ice cream party will be given to the NHS classroom that collects the most items, complete with all the trimmings for banana splits, sundaes, milkshakes and other frozen concoctions.

Donations from the community are welcome and appreciated. If you would like to help, send your donation to Nashville High School with any NHS student, drop your donation off at the high school office.

Donors may also call Honor Society adviser Fran Strawn at 870-845-3261 and she will pick up the canned food items.
