Applications are now being taken for vendors, candidates and organizations that want to have booths at the popular Howard County Trade Day in October.
Date of the trade day is Saturday, Oct. 1. The event will be 9-5 at the Howard County Fairgrounds. In previous years, vendor booths have overflowed the main exhibition building of the fairgrounds.
Booths may be rented for $35, and all proceeds go to the Howard County Single Parent Scholarship Fund which gets matching dollars from the state organization.
A special rate is available for eligible non-profit organization which only want to exhibit.
Booths are available for vendors who intend to sell handmade, refurbished or resale items. Booths are also available for political candidates, businesses and organizations.
