Mrs. Linda Lou Wormington Williamson, age 63, a resident of Dierks, died Monday, May 16, 2016 in St Vincent Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born to Jessie Loyd and Alice Marie Godwin Wormington in Texarkana, Arkansas, on January 3, 1953. She was a LPN, as well as a homemaker. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Dierks. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, riding horses, and her church and church family. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 39 years, Daniel T. Williamson, Jr., She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kasi Renee Williamson, and two brothers, Wilburn Wormington, and Palmer Wormington.  She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel T. III, and Lucinda Williamson of Maybanks, Texas, Thomas and Kathy Williamson of Texarkana, Texas, Floyd Williamson of Maybanks, Texas, and Chase T. and Deanna Williamson of Dierks, Arkansas, a grandson, whom she raised, Garrett Taylor Williamson of Dierks, three daughters, Tamala Stinson of Dierks, Kaye and J. C. Wade of Dierks, and Mary and Louis Jones of Dierks, fifteen grandchildren, including special grandchildren, Daniel Louis “D.J.” of Dierks, and Cayden Bass and Chloe Spears both of Dierks, and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Darlene Wormington of Texarkana, Arkansas, one sister, Charlotte Vinabel of Shreveport, Louisiana, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Williamson will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 21st in the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. J. W. Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in the Section Cemetery near Athens, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday, May 20th in the Mt.
